A beautiful Russian Lacquer box on a beautiful Abalone shell by A. Kotova a graduate of the renown Fedoskino Art School. On this piece Kotova shows "Ships on the Open Seas" incorporating a beautiful mother of pearl finish showing the gorgeous sun set in the background. The box also has pearls inside the box on the inner part of the shell. The box is completely handpainted and signed by the artist on the bottom corner of the work. This box is 7 x 5 x 2.5 inches and is finished with beautiful design around the whole box.
